Established warehousing and brokerage services throughout the United States and Canada. Worked with
international banks to establish credit lines and propagate letters of credit. Also maintained
accounts and processed distributions for multiple real estate investment companies owned by the
principals of AJIX.
Marina Export Co. - Re-organized this company that served as the purchasing office for a retail
chain of department stores and super-drug stores in South America. Transformed the manual operation
to a computerized and fully accountable entity using Peachtree accounting software. Established
office procedures and put systems in place to efficiently handle the purchase and subsequent export
of products ranging from $4 million to $6 million annually. Initiated two spin-off companies,
Vipurco Housewares and Toys and FIC Trading. |

positions. Oversaw company policy development and implementation. Served as company liaison for
banking transactions including credit lines, investment accounts, letters of credit and in-house
wire-transfers. Directly supervised all aspects of accounting including monthly budgets, monthly
and year-end financial statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and payroll.
Accomplishments: Implemented a comprehensive accounting system using Macola accounting software
on a PC network. Implemented a computerized system for tracking price quotes on potential purchases
of chemicals, raw materials, machinery, technical equipment, flavorings, and hospital supplies, resulting in increased
productivity and trailing ability and the elimination of redundant tasks. Established warehouse
procedures to improve inventory control and retrieval efficiency. |
